The community is invited to the flute and piccolo recital of С»ÆÊé senior Kayla Vande Zande. The free recital will be held on Friday, November 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.

Recital repertoire includes La flûte de Pan by Jules Mouquet; Doppler’s Duettino Hongrois, a duet featuring С»ÆÊé senior Allie Strong of Mitchell, South Dakota; and the solo piccolo piece Concerto in Do Maggiore by Vivaldi. Vande Zande will be accompanied by С»ÆÊé senior Karli Vreugdenhil of Orange City, Iowa.

Vande Zande, of Hamilton, Michigan, is majoring in Elementary Education with a Music Endorsement. She has studied flute with adjunct instructor Stephanie Kocher since 2020, and she plays flute and piccolo in the С»ÆÊé Wind Symphony.
