С����’s nursing program has been ranked the top nursing school in Iowa by RegisteredNursing.org in its 10th annual rankings of the best nursing programs across the state.

The rankings, which evaluate schools based on student performance on the NCLEX-RN exam and other factors, recognize Dordt’s consistent record of preparing students to excel in the nursing profession. RegisteredNursing.org notes that strong NCLEX pass rates demonstrate not only the quality of instruction but also the readiness of graduates to enter the nursing workforce with confidence.

“Our nursing program has seen tremendous growth in recent years, which reflects both the strong demand for nurses and Dordt’s commitment to preparing students well,” says Dr. Deb Bomgaars, professor of nursing and director of the program. “We’re grateful to be part of a community where students are eager to serve and that our program continues to be recognized for equipping them to do so with excellence.”

To meet growing demand for the nursing program, Dordt officials have expanded the university’s labs and clinical opportunities while maintaining a strong commitment to hands-on learning, individualized mentorship, and integration of faith and practice.
